This ferrite ring will help keep unwanted electrical noise out of your servo. It is also a great way to shorten servo wires in a neat manner. The ring is 2.5 grams and can handle as many as 5 turns of 28ga servo wire. That is about 4 inches! Smaller wire can generate more turns. To wrap the wire, simply remove the 3 pin servo connector by lifting up on the plastic pins with a hobby knife. Gently pull out the wire. Thread the metal connectors through the ring as many times as you wish.
