The NEW front shaft, gear and pulley set is designed to achieve TRUE operation for the front gear drive assembly. With a bigger and stronger and high quality steel shaft, the new shaft can withstand larger force so it is less susceptible to bending. This design is improved over stock shaft by eliminating the need of applying glue on the shafts. It also comes with a CNC aluminum front pulley to eliminate the stripping of stock plastic front pulley. The front aluminum pulley fits perfectly on the new tail shaft and is held securely by set screws on the slot of the steel shaft. Moreover, the blue CNC gear is made of super strong material and is CNC machined to guarantee roundness and wobble-free. This system is designed to improve performance on X400 helicopters. The stock aluminum frames are very rigid and strong. However one draw back of aluminum is that it does not have good memory. In other words, after a rough landing aluminum frames will bend and loose the original design structure. One advantage of carbon is that it has very good memory. After a moderate crash the CF frames may flex but not break thus each frame retains its original structure and as long as the frame did not break you are assured that the original structure remained intact. Also, Carbon is lighter and more attractive. Two versions of this conversion are available, standard or CCPM. The eCCPM conversion allows flyers who wish to have a direct swashplate eCCPM setup convert by simply replacing the main frame and changing servo positions. All stock hardware is used for this simply conversion ( standard or eCCPM ) and no cutting or drilling is required as all mounting points remain the same as stock.
