FS8 Co Pilot Integrated Receiver/Co Pilot external programming switch and LED indicator connects directly to a two pin connector on the FS8 Co Pilot and is for mounting to the side of an aircraft fuselage. Enables access to receiver and Co Pilot programming and LED functions from outside

the aircraft. FS8 Co Pilot Systems come with programming button and LED. This unit is available as a replacement item. Unit is manufactured on a single glass epoxy p.c.b. and contains two heavy duty momentary push button switches. The included LED is a super bright red color with a clear lens for visibility on a sunny day. Since the FS8 Co Pilot can display Frequency-Clear checking, battery voltage, RF quality - LED blinks number of failsafes during flight (if any) and blinks bad data frames received during flight, and allows programming failsafe receiver and Co Pilot settings using the programming button, the external switch is a required equipment for the FS8 Co Pilot.

Installation requires drilling 3 holes in the side of a fuselage. The unit is mounted with one nut threaded onto the shafts of each push button switch.

Flight Systems Co Pilot Viewer Software

will receive 2 copies of the software. The software includes a demo program that can be loaded and allows you to see the benefits of viewer software in your shop or at the field using your laptop computer. The viewer software lets you see information about your transmitter/receiver in a graphical format. It displays transmitter type and number of channels. Each channel is displayed using a slide-rule meter indicating servo position, failsafe positions that have been programmed and much more. See telemetry data from the receiver such as your receiver battery voltage, quality of RF reception, number of failsafes that have occurred since the power was cycled. Great for range checking and for use as a diagnostic tool in the field. Software includes a Smart Wizard that can walk you through setup quickly and intuitively. It is important to note that the viewer software and interface adapter (sold separately) are not required to setup and operate your Flight Systems products. You may load the viewer software and run the demo program. If you like what you see, you can purchase the interface module at any time and then use the viewer software to read the telemetry and setup information from your FS products.

The Flight Systems P.C. serial interface module (pn: FSIM1) is required to interconnect any of the new FMA Flight Systems products (FS receivers and FS Co Pilot) to your personal computer. Used in tandem with the FS receiver and/or FS Co Pilot viewer software, setup information, real time and historic telemetry information can be viewed on your Windows based computer. Contents includes a 9 pin, serial cable. Unit does not come with software. Software is provided for free with every FS product purchased (FS receiver or FS Co Pilot). This is a great enhancement for your FMA Direct Flight Systems product!

This item is manufactured on a single glass epoxy p.c.b. and contains a heavy duty momentary push button switch. The included LED is a super bright red color with a clear lens for visibility on a sunny day. Since the FS receiver can display Frequency-Clear checking, battery voltage, RF quality - LED blinks number of failsafes during flight (if any) and blinks bad data frames receiver during flight, and allows programming failsafe settings using the programming button, the external switch is a good enhancement to the FS receiver.
