The ds760 is a high specification model helicopter gyro capable of delivering exceptionally consistent yaw rates even at eye-blurring speeds of over two full turns per second. The control is smooth and precise with a very solid feel and impressive holding power. The stopping characteristics give a nice soft, but precise response with no bounce back.
The built in configuration routine allows adjustment of individual left and right endpoints, direction reversing and servo type selection. In addition the ds760 can be connected to a personal computer or Pocket PC offering access to more advanced parameters including yaw acceleration, deceleration, stop gain and many more. Additionally the upcoming detachable display offers quick access to all configuration parameters.

The Rotor Head Speed Governor operates the throttle servo to maintain a constant rotor head speed at all times. This decreases the amount of collective stick movements you must make allowing you to concentrate more on the other controls! It is possible to select two rotor head speeds with the Governor. Typically a lower RPM is selected for hovering while a higher RPM is selected for aerobatics. This can be done in flight by adjusting a dial or flipping the rpm select switch on your transmitter. |
