You can fly it indoor in the smallest areas, your bedroom, living room, or on calm days, take it outside and do Fast Forward Flying. Due to its high RPM, the HeliStar does not suffer from much “Nose Pitch Up” and will cut through the air with over 2000 RPM.
The HeliStar is powered by a powerful Coreless motor and a 3 cell Lithium Pack. This combinations gives the HeliStar a run time of over 20 minutes with plenty of power at the hands of the modeler. Two micro-motors are connected to plastic sliders, the sliders are connected to the lower Swashplate thus allowing for fully proportional cyclic control at minimum weight.
The Unique HF-100 twin-speed controller drives the main and tail motors and powers the two micro-motors / servos as well as the Gyro and Receiver.
The parts supplied in the kit are of the highest quality. The boom, paddles, and tail rotor are all made of high grade carbon fiber. The main rotor head comes pre-assembled and the complete head system is CNC machined.
The HeliStar kit contains a detailed building instructions so that you can build it within a few hours. Critical components such as Rotorhead and swashplate are pre assembled in order to ensure proper function from the very beginning.
After a few training flights, the HeliStar can be flown in small rooms, zooming above your furniture with no problem. Due to its very small mass the HeliStar is more fragile and delicate then other Micros and recommended for the experienced modeler.
