Hummingbird CNC Aluminum Center Core :

Designed as a direct replacement for the stock Hummingbird. Easy installation manual is included
in the kit. All necessary hardware is also included

The kit comes complete with a boom mount using a thick set screw for a strong hold. You can finally replace the boom in seconds without having mess with adhesives or glues.

The collar is a perfect fit so you can simply slide the boom in place and lock the set screw.

An extra notch exists on the bottom of the locking base plate to enable the internal boom wires coming off the tail motor to exit and connect to the speed controller

Notice how the chassis included extra holes on both the front and rear to further reduce weight without sacrificing the center strength of the chassis.

The chassis is a direct replacement and so no special drilling is required to transfer the rest of your machine

Each struts ( Leg ) locks onto each skid using a one way locking bend that’s built onto the strut. This allows the struts ( legs ) to lock into the skids without having to apply and glue or without having to even use set screws.

 The struts insert into the skids in seconds and once the upper struts are locked onto the chassis using the supplied set screws, the lower struts lock onto the skids.

 This unique deign creates both rigidity in the frame structure as well as providing the most efficient setup since no other requirements are necessary to keep the complete construction intact.

In case you need to remove the skids or struts, you can simply use the hex driver ( sold separately ) to unscrew the set screws which are threaded in the main chassis thus freeing the struts.

Most likely you will find that you rarely ever need to remove the metal struts since they are extremely strong and can withhold a very hard crash or less then perfect landing ...

The kit is supplied with four set screws, two for the front portion of the chassis and two for the rear portion of the chassis assembly.
 

The Picture to the bottom displays the complete Hummingbird Center Core package which includes the Main Chassis, a matching head stiffener to reduce the coning effect, a matching vertical and Horizontal fin set, Skids and Struts.

Also included is a small tool which helps to align the servos to the anti rotation pin during installation and setup.

The picture below includes the four colors which the kit is available in ( The rest of the components including boom, fins, skids and head stiffener also match your color of choice ). 

Also shown is the same kit installed with a Hornet CCPM Head, which makes this Micro Heli a fully CCPM CP Machine.

The following item is highly recommended when purchasing the Hummingbird Center Core. The drivers kit includes all hex keys needed to install and remove the kit.
