The 2007 generation of LOGO 500's is evidence of Mikado's continued efforts to remain pioneers in the design of electric helicopters and absolute priority to provide you with well-designed, high-quality models which are always fun to fly. This is the Logo 500 DX version. FEATURES: Superlight, extremely rigid mainframe. The mainframe consists of a right and a left frame made from glassfiber-reinforced polymer. A number of components which are usually separate parts are fully integrated into this frame, and do not have to be bought separately, for example bearing case, battery tray and servo mounting plate. There is ample space for any brand of available battery. The mainframe offers enough room for motors of up to 56 mm in diameter. The revolutionary Herringbone main gear design produces considerably more transmission efficiency, is very smooth running, and has an extremely low noise level.

Like the DX version, LOGO 500 3D will perform excellent with a 5S pack. If equipped with a 6S pack however, you will go to a completely new dimension of heli flying. The kit includes several extras for 3D flying, such as all levers fully ball-raced, aluminium swashplate, and light 3D paddles. We strive to give each of our helis its own individual look, while making sure they can be recognized as one of the same family. Superlight, extremely rigid mainframe: The mainframe is made from glassfiber-reinforced polymer material and manufactured by injection moulding. An advantage of this type of mainframe is that it allows for much greater freedom in designing than is the case with a mainframes which are assembled by screwing flat carbon parts together. Consider the placement of the servos for example. We have integrated the three (standard- or midsize) swashplate servos into the frame by providing slots for each one. In this way the servos are very easy to install and the linkages can be kept short and perfectly aligned. Also the entire mainframe is optimized for weight and extremely rigid at the same time. Herringbone main gear: Experience of previous years shows that conventional gear trains have reached their limit with regard to performance. The increasing power made available by latest Lipoly batteries calls for new concepts. We are proud to present this new gear technology, which includes herringbone gears. The LOGO 14 has a driven tail to ensure full control with the motor turned off. This allows 3D pilots to perform impressive inverted and backwards autorotation maneuvers. A particularly innovative feature is the main gear box which fully encloses both main gears to protect them from dirt and to reduce noise. The extremely rigid carbon fiber main frame features removable servo mounts and a carbon battery brace for proper support of the battery pack. There is ample space for the placement of the receiver speed controller and gyro. The canopy of the LOGO 14 is another highlight: It wraps completely around the top half of the chassis which not only makes for a streamlined look but also guarantees maximum flight velocity. An opening on either side of the canopy aids in the direct cooling of the motor and speed controller during flight.
