This kit is available in G10 and Carbon Fiber (CF). Wire struts and skids are included in both versions.

The custom main frame kit is available in light G10 or carbon fiber and is supplied with strong, light metal wire struts. The wire struts can be bent in any desired fashion to accommodate a custom look.
The frame is adaptable to both Piccolo and Hornet main rotor mechanics with slight mods and a few different components. In fact, with minor modification this frame will fit most Helicopter setups.

Piccolo installation is straight forward for Fixed Pitch configurations. For Collective Pitch, the shaft needs to be reduced slightly to lower the rotor height so that the anti-rotation pin is centered with the anti rotation fork.

The Hornet CP main rotor mechanics can be installed with the Piccolo 3mm flanged bearings, and optionally with our CNC Delrin main gear, one way hub, and a longer shaft.

The frame kit is for the modeler who likes being different and welcomes challenging projects.

The kit is shipped as a standard G10 / Carbon fiber assembly plate as demonstrated on top.

The two Helicopters to the left are the first generation of the new Hybrid Micro Helicopters.

The parts mounted on the Helis include the custom frame as well as a CNC swashplate, JMD’s Sceadu canopy and decals, a G10 battery mounting plate, Hornet paddles and other custom parts.
