Comes 90% ready to fly and pre built with BL Motor and ESC
The 90% prebuilt MX400 Pro performs demanding 3D aerobatics as well as larger glow-powered models do with a brushless motor and ESC aluminum parts and other upgrades providing optimum performance at an outstanding value. The factory-equipped machined aluminum swashplate and upgraded main rotor head components offer smooth cyclic and pitch control and increased throw capabilities. A direct servo linkage delivers precise tail control. The aluminum tail case includes ball bearings and a strong efficient belt drive system. Designed for brushless motors the aluminum frame provides rigidity without excess weight. The MX400 Pro is autorotation-capable with a driven tail for total control.

For enormous 3-D potential from a micro electric model, any Heli-Max MX Series helicopter is a smart choice. The MX450 XS has the precision and polish to reach performance extremes. Highly optioned the MX450 XS challenges big, glow-powered helis for smoothness, stability, and the ability to accomplish seemingly impossible maneuvers. The MX450 XS all-metal main rotor head features a responsive 120 degree direct eCCPM control system. Control arms and mixing levers include ball bearings for smooth operation. A machined aluminum swashplate adds precision. Linkages are direct for strength and use ball links on both ends for easy adjustment. Perfectly suited for brushless motor systems, the model's aluminum frame provides rigidity without unnecessary weight. The MX450 XS is autorotation-capable, with a driven tail for total control. The all-aluminum tail gear case includes ball bearings on the drive shaft as well as the idler pulley for the smoothest operation. The belt drive system is strong, efficient, and quiet. A new pitch slider offers precise rudder control. Requires: 6-channel heli radio w/4 micro servos, gyro, brushless motor and ESC, Lithium-Polymer battery pack and charger

The stock aluminum frames are very rigid and strong. However one draw back of aluminum is that it does not have good memory. In other words, after a rough landing aluminum frames will bend and loose the original design structure. One advantage of carbon is that it has very good memory. After a moderate crash the CF frames may flex but not break thus each frame retains its original structure and as long as the frame did not break you are assured that the original structure remained intact. Also, Carbon is lighter and more attractive. Two versions of this conversion are available, standard or CCPM. The eCCPM conversion allows flyers who wish to have a direct swashplate eCCPM setup convert by simply replacing the main frame and changing servo positions. All stock hardware is used for this simply conversion ( standard or eCCPM ) and no cutting or drilling is required as all mounting points remain the same as stock.
