The stators are epoxy coated to prevent shorts, and are wound with wire that is rated at 180 degrees C (356 F). The magnets used in Scorpion Motors are N-50EH style, which are rated for operation at 200 degrees C (392 F), making a motor that is virtually impossible to burn up in normal use. All Scorpion HK-3026 series motors come with 3.5mm male Bullet style connectors already attached, and include a hardware package that contains 3 matching female Bullet connectors for your speed controller with matching heat shrink tubing. Since the HK series motors are primarily designed for Helicopter and Ducted Fan use, they do not include a prop adapter. If you intend on running a prop on this motor, you will need to purchase a prop adapter for a 5mm shaft.

The G-Force ESD plate is a bolt-on upgrade that will electrically ground the tail boom and belt to a CF frame. This will reduce the interference that is caused by static generated by the belt and tail blades. The ESD plate is most effective when used with a CF frame. When used on a GF frame, only the tail boom and belt is ground together. It is highly recommended that the G-Force Static Wick (Part #GFA7088) to be used with the G-Force ESD Plate to discharge the static quickly into the atmosphere. The G-Force Static Wick dissipates excess static build up that is partly caused by a belt driven heli or the tail blades. The static wick can also reduce possible interference to receivers especially for the 2.4Ghz. High enough static could cause a complete 2.4Ghz lockout.
