The primary pocket dimension (shown in the image above) was designed to fit the stock Align 60A RCE-BL60G, Castle Creations Phoenix 60, Kontronik Jazz 40-6-18, Kontronik Jazz 80-6-18, Kontronik Jive series (100+ LV, 80+ LV, and 80+ HV), and most other 30-80 Amp ESCs on the market. Actual dimensions for the pocket are 1.380 (35.1 mm) W x 2.641 (67.1 mm) L x 0.185 (4.7 mm) D.

Note: The Metal Bearing Block design utilizes high-end CNC machining to produce tight and accurate tolerances throughout the part, giving you the best quality upgrade product on the market. With the addition of the thrust-bearings to support all axial loads, more power will be available for hard pitch-pumps, 3D maneuvers, and autorotations. as well as protecting the integrity of the radial bearings (no more crunchy bearings!).

This is the full conversion set for helicopters with an 8mm main shaft and 425mm - 550mm blade size. This includes the head assemble and electronics to make your helicopter fly as smooth without a flybar as it did with. Going flybarless has some advanatages besides just looking cool such as decreased drag and parts wear as well as increased flight time from the absence of that drag.

The Futaba GY401 is the undisputed most commonly used gyro for the 400/450, 500 class helis. It is fully 3D capable giving you that “locked in” feeling with no drifting. It is extremely setup friendly and typically requires no fine tuning after minor incidents as you may be used to experiencing with other high end gyros. Please note that an existing package is available for GY401 + s9254 for 600 and 700 class helis.

HeliHobby is taking care of our customers most common requests by making a combo for the other popular combinations with the GY401. We are packaging it with the 9650 in Package A or the 9257 in Package B. Both commonly used on the Trex 450 and Trex 500 helis along with other types of helis in their respective classes.

As a note you may choose the GY401 + 9254 for your Trex 500 using a Trex 600 tail servo mount. This is a great option for those of us wishing to push the limits with our 500 class helis. We will include a free 600 servo mount in Package C.

Going Flybarless is not new and those of us who have installed a 3RD party FlyBarLess system has experienced the pains of dialing the system in to work with your helicopter. The Scorpion HK-3026 motors have been developed for the newer 500 and 550 class electric helicopters that are becoming so popular. These motors are designed to provide all the power that you can use, while still maintaining excellent efficiency and cool running characteristics. Scorpion HK Series Brushless Motors are built from the best materials available, and are designed to provide both quality and performance at an affordable price. Scorpion starts with high quality aluminum alloy parts that are produced on the latest CNC milling machines. These parts are then gold anodized to provide a beautiful, long-lasting finish. The stators are made with 0.2mm laminations to give maximum efficiency, and minimum Eddy current losses. The stators are epoxy coated to prevent shorts, and are wound with wire that is rated at 180 degrees C (356 F). The magnets used in Scorpion Motors are N-50EH style, which are rated for operation at 200 degrees C (392 F), making a motor that is virtually impossible to burn up in normal use. All Scorpion HK-3026 series motors come with 3.5mm male Bullet style connectors already attached, and include a hardware package that contains 3 matching female Bullet connectors for your speed controller with matching heat shrink tubing. Since the HK series motors are primarily designed for Helicopter and Ducted Fan use, they do not include a prop adapter. If you intend on running a prop on this motor, you will need to purchase a prop adapter for a 5mm shaft.

KBDD paddles are very light with a lot of surface area offering a great paddle for very fast 3D flight. Even faster than high end CF paddles as these paddles were made with thoughtful design both in shape and weight. They also have two flybar mount holes the forward hole increases stablility especially in Fast Forward Flight where the heli will have the tendancy to pitch up.
