Store is platform independent ( Windows / Linux ) command line backup utility. The binary utility uses the external gzip and tar commands to create an archive for backup purposes. The archive can then be copied to another directory or even FTPed to a remote host automatically. The store binary utility reads a user configuration file which includes information on files and directories to backup. The configuration file also included information on where to copy or ftp archive files.

The package includes a sample configuration ( backup.conf ) that can be modified for Windows or Unix,

Command line arguments include:

• config file specification
• delete files after completion
• verbose mode
• progress mode
