NeuMotors have been designed for the special demands and tough environment that helicopters present. The lack of cooling and high peak loads in hard 3D flying often leads to very hot motors that fail early. The newly designed H series motors address the issues by taking the very efficient 11, 15 and 19 series of motors and enclosing them in a newly designed case with cooling fins and a very powerful internal blower/shroud that directs the air over the surface of the motor housing and fins. There is enough air moved that if the speed controller is mounted close by it can be cooled also.
